How could you be with him
How could you give yourself
To a man of deception 
He used you for eight years
He stole your money and your heart
Still you admit  to me
You made love to him
I’m sure that’s not what he did, in his head
He took from you one more time
You look at it in another way 
Only in a way that will damage your heart
more than it hurts so far.
How could you sell yourself, short?
